Assignments 1, 2 and 3

Assignment 1:
This picture is of the fence on the football field. It was supposed to show shape, because of the shapes of the fence links.

This picture is of the light posts on the football field, it was supposed to show depth, but I ended up making it too dark in the dark room so it is hard to tell.

Assignment 2:

This picture is of flowers I arranged. This is a still life because I set it up, and had my mom hold up a light to make it brighter in some spots.

My second picture is in the gallery in the front of the school

Assignment 3:

This is a picture of the bell right outside of my house. It shows depth of field because the bell is in focus, but the trees behind it are not.

This is a picture of the fence behind my house. This shows depth of field because everything is in focus, even the tree behind the fence.

Troubleshooting

1. I found the process easier the second time around, the first time I had no idea what to do and I had to pay special attention to the poster that had all the steps, but the second time around I was more familiar with the steps on developing film.
2. The biggest problem I am still having is rolling the film, especially getting the film on the clips.
3. The lighting was good on most of my photos, a couple were too light, but I tried really hard to pay attention to my light meter each time.
4. Some of my images are clear, but others are not as much. I tried to adjust my shutter speed and aperture, but some times the light meter wouldn't let me change it that much because it would eiher be too dark or too light since there was only one light source, i twas hard to get light inside.

The most exciting part of photography is getting to see your prints/negatives after going through the long process to see them. The hardest part is rolling the film onto the reel without looking.
